I am trained in person-centred counselling and somatic psychotherapy with Bob Palfreyman’s Wholistc Therapy Centre in Hobart and I have a post grad certificate in counselling from the School of Psychology, University of Tasmania.
I am a clinical member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) and a member of the Australian Association for Bush Adventure Therapy Inc.
I have over twenty years experience working therapeutically with people in the outdoors.
I am based at Geilston Bay and the East Risdon Nature Reserve.

My session fee is $140 for 90 minutes for self-funded participants. There is a BUPA rebate for clients with the appropriate policy. I am not presently eligible for a Medicare provider number due to current government rules. Therefore there is no rebate through Medicare. I provide an invoice if required. My sessions are 90 minutes to provide enough time to walk and talk. At the equivalent of $93.33 an hour my rate is effectively already rebated to be financially accessible to my clients in the current marketplace. I have a $20 surcharge for travel beyond the inner Hobart suburbs. I have a $20 fee for use of large equipment during our session such as my canoe. Cancellations or rescheduling with less than twenty four hours notice will be charged a $50 fee. Cancellations on the day will be charged at the standard fee rate of $140. I have a $30 administration fee for funded sessions. With NDIS participants this goes to cover some the costs of registering for the NDIS, and generally administering bookings, service delivery, and payments.
